AP EAPCET: Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy CET — Overview
AP EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) through Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA). It admits students to engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture undergraduate programmes in Andhra Pradesh's colleges.
Like its Telangana counterpart, AP EAPCET was formerly known as EAMCET before the state reorganisation and subsequent renaming. The APSCHE portal (cets.apsche.ap.gov.in) is an umbrella portal listing multiple state CETs — including AP EAPCET, AP ECET, AP ICET, AP LAWCET, and others. AP EAPCET process: from registration to web options
- Register on the APSCHE portal — Registration typically opens a few months before the exam. Use the AP EAPCET link on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and fill your application carefully.
- Appear for the exam in your stream — Engineering and AM streams have separate exam windows. Download your hall ticket from the APSCHE portal before the exam date.
- Check the result — Results are published on the APSCHE portal. Download and save your rank card.
- Participate in web options counselling — AP EAPCET counselling runs as "web options" on an AP state portal announced each cycle. Enter your college and branch preferences in order. Confirm the current counselling portal on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
AP EAPCET vs TG EAPCET: two separate exams: AP EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh) and TG EAPCET (Telangana) are two separate exams run by separate state authorities since Andhra Pradesh bifurcated in 2014.
