Everything below describes how this site is actually run: where the facts come from, who checks them, how often they are re-checked, how corrections work, where AI fits, and what we refuse to publish. It governs every page on cethelpcenter.com, all of it produced by the CET Help Center Editorial Team, part of Gyaniversity Publications.

Where our facts come from

For dates, fees, eligibility, quotas, documents and counselling procedure, only the exam authorities count:

— MHT-CET (Maharashtra) — the State Common Entrance Test Cell at cetcell.mahacet.org, and the Directorate of Technical Education at dte.maharashtra.gov.in for CAP counselling.

— KCET (Karnataka) — the Karnataka Examinations Authority at kea.kar.nic.in, with counselling and option entry through cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

— COMEDK — the consortium's own bulletin and notifications.

— For state CETs we cover at reference level only, that state's authority, linked on the page.

If a bulletin, notification or CAP notice exists as a PDF, that PDF is what we read — not a summary of it — and we link it so the same clause sits in front of you too. Coaching blogs, aggregator pages and news write-ups carry no authority here. We follow them to spot questions early, and stop there.

The status label on every date, fee and rule

Every significant claim carries one of three labels, visible on the page:

— Confirmed — stated in an official notification, with a link and the date we checked.

— Not yet announced — the authority has not published it. We say when it has historically been announced, and do not fill the gap with a guess.

— Reported, unverified — only secondary sources say it. We name them and tell you to confirm before acting.

We would rather publish "this is not announced yet" than a complete-looking schedule table that is partly invented. A confident wrong date is worse than an honest gap.

When sources disagree

Reporting on state CETs contradicts itself constantly. Marks-to-percentile estimates for MHT-CET vary widely between sources. KCET round sequencing has been described inconsistently across major sites within one cycle. The weighting KEA applies to 2nd PUC marks has changed before, and is restated carelessly by sites that never checked.

We do not quietly pick the most popular answer. We show the disagreement — what each source claims and who published it, with links — then resolve it against the official document, naming that document and the date we read it. Where the official document does not settle it, we say so. On any number we cannot confirm officially, we describe the rule and leave the figure out rather than print something that could cost a student a year.

How often pages are re-checked

Every page carries a visible last-reviewed date, is re-checked at least once per admission cycle, and again whenever an authority changes something it describes.

— Cycle-critical pages — registration windows, merit lists, objection windows, CAP and KEA round schedules, reporting and surrender deadlines — are re-verified frequently through the June-to-September crunch, when both states run at once.

— Evergreen pages — eligibility, document rules, quota conditions, marking schemes and decision guides — are reviewed at least twice a year.

We do not change a date to make a page look fresh. If the reviewed date moved, that page was re-checked.

Corrections

Report an error to hello@cethelpcenter.com (operator fallback: gyaniversity.publications@gmail.com), naming the page and the sentence.

— Every report gets a reply within 3 working days.

— The claim goes back to the authority's own document for checking.

— A confirmed mistake is fixed, stamped on the page with the date of the change, and added as a dated entry to our public corrections log.

— A claim nobody can settle either way is removed, not left standing.

The log is public on purpose. A site that edits its mistakes quietly is asking for trust it has not earned.

Where AI fits, and where it does not

Some drafts here are AI-assisted. AI turns official notifications into a first draft and helps keep two state calendars in view at once — in a week when both authorities publish, a small team cannot read everything by hand.

It decides nothing. Before publication, a human editor on the CET Help Center Editorial Team reads the page and re-checks each date, fee, quota condition and rule against the primary document. Whatever cannot be verified is deleted rather than hedged. AI is never the final authority on this site. We disclose it because how a page was made is part of judging whether to trust it.

Independence, advertising, and our own books

— This site carries advertising. Ads are labelled and kept separate from editorial content. No advertiser sees or shapes a page before it is published.

— Ad revenue never decides what we write. Nothing is added, dropped or softened because of what it earns, and advice that is inconvenient for a college runs as readily as advice that flatters one.

— Gyaniversity Publications, our operator, sells study guides and learning material. Any such recommendation on this site is marked as the operator's own product and sits below the answer it accompanies, never inside it.

— No payment is accepted for coverage, placement, ranking, or a favourable mention of any college, coaching institute or service.

What we will never publish

— Leaked papers, "confirmed" paper predictions, or any claim of pre-exam access.

— Guaranteed rank, guaranteed seat or guaranteed admission — ours or an advertiser's.

— Paid agents, seat brokers, "counselling assistance" sellers or management-quota fixers, as content or as advertising.

— Scraped solution dumps, or anybody else's material republished with nothing added.

— Cutoffs, fees, seat counts or percentile tables presented as fact when they came from an aggregator rather than the authority, and any future date shown as confirmed when it has only been reported.

Not an official source

CET Help Center is an independent publisher operated by Gyaniversity Publications. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra; the Karnataka Examinations Authority; COMEDK; or any other state entrance-test authority or government body. This is not the official website of any entrance examination. We do not accept applications, process admissions, allot seats, or influence any result. Always confirm dates, fees and rules against the official notification linked on each page before acting.
