WBJEE 2026 Counselling Starts on June 30: Key Dates

WBJEE students now have a fresh and important update to act on: the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has released the counselling schedule for admission to undergraduate Engineering, Technology and Architecture courses for the 2026–27 academic session. According to the official schedule, candidate registration, payment of the registration fee and choice filling will remain open from June 30, 2026 to July 5, 2026. After Round 1, candidates who get a seat and want to continue must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission from July 7 to July 11, 2026, if they have either chosen no upgradation or received their first-choice seat. WBJEEB has also fixed the Round 3 registration and choice filling window for July 24 to July 26, 2026, with the third allotment result on July 28, 2026. Fresh allottees in the final round will need to complete seat acceptance and reporting from July 28 to July 30, 2026. One more useful point from the official counselling notice: WBJEEB says the process will be a single, combined online counselling for WBJEE-2026 and JEE(Main)-2026 candidates, and the registration fee is Rs. 500, non-refundable.
