Two syllabi, one preparation
MHT-CET follows the Maharashtra HSC (state board) syllabus with the weighting stated in each year's information brochure; KCET follows the Karnataka I & II PUC syllabus. Both are close cousins of NCERT but not identical to it — state-board-specific chapters and phrasings do appear in papers.
